CMFG wins their first medals!

Last week Cambridge entered the Tournament of Deeds, hosted by ISCA, in Herefordshire. We combined our team of James, Marcus and Jack with Norwich’s Knights Tower’s Josh and Bradley to enter the Tier 1 tournament as “East Anglia”. We faced off with some of the best teams in the country and… did ok considering! The event was live streamed and you can check out all our fights below.

After the 5v5s, which was billed as main event, I was surreptitiously entered into the 12v12s by our Captain Marcus. And it's a good job he did as we did vey well and took home Silver. In addition Jack won the “will to win” award for Saturday for his efforts Vs ISCA. These are our first medals as a club though we still have a long way to go!

We also entered Tier 2 on the Sunday, this time in 3v3s. Marcus was unfortunately taken out due to injury in the opening fight, but we were ok as latest friend of the club Barry of team Havoc was mercing for us

We eventually got 4th out of 6. It was a good showing overall, and everyone did incredibly well. Next time, well get on the podium.
